Destination Phillip Island is the peak industry body for tourism in the Phillip Island region.

The board partners with the local industry, Bass Coast Shire Council, Tourism Victoria and Tourism Australia to deliver strategies to grow and sustain tourism in the region.

Tourism and events create jobs and economic prosperity in communities right across Victoria.

In 2013-14, the tourism industry contributed an estimated $655 million to the Phillip Island/Bass Coast economy
(39.4% of gross regional product) and employed approximately 6,400 people (43.3% of regional employment). TOURISM = JOBS
